My intention is to produce written communications that reflect your goals and objectives, your thoughts and ideas, your wishes and dreams — so that the resulting work is clear, polished, and compelling. Exactly what you hoped for, only better.
I have a three-step process to achieve this goal:
Step One
I ask questions. You answer. I dig deeper. So do you. We talk about your company and your ideas. About what you need and what you want. About what you like and don’t like. I talk to your management staff or employees, if you wish. I listen carefully to all.
Step Two
I review any existing written or visual materials needed to glean the essence of your past communication projects. I research your competitors and your industry so we’ll know what we’re up against. I interview experts in your field, if needed. After I’ve digested all written and verbal material, I begin the writing process.
Step Three
My writing process is iterative. I review my notes and research the visuals that will help tell your story. Then I create a draft for your review. I incorporate your comments into a second draft that we review together. We continue this draft-and-review process — inserting the visuals at appropriate stages — until you have the document you want.
My Objective
My objective is a happy client. My long-term goal is to become your go-to writer for all your communications needs.
